Alaska Cruise- 2006
Back in July of 2006 Terri and I took a cruise to Alaska. We went with Norwegian Cruise Lines and did the inside passage. I think I can honestly say that we will never, I repeat never, take another cruise. All reservations were made through Norwegian. Flight delays first in Shreveport, then again in Houston caused us to miss our ship in Seattle. To their credit, Continental Airlines did fly us up to Ketchikan and put us up in a very nice hotel to wait for our ship to arrive.
Too many people on the ship, misrepresentation of amenities, and no time ashore pretty well solidified our dissatisfaction with the whole cruise experience. That being said, we love Alaska. The scenery is breathtaking and we are planning to go back possibly as early as 2009 but more likely 2010.
